OVES Programs and Services

The Okanagan Valley Entrepreneurs Society conducts, sponsors and monitors a host of programs and services designed to foster the entrepreneurial spirit. From workshops and seminars on everything from Business Planning and Sales and Marketing, to assisting entrepreneurs in obtaining financing, training and leadership skills, OVES has a program for you. Resource Center

OVES is proud to offer its Members access to our new Resource Center located at our offices on Springfield Road. Members can stop in during business hours to use a computer, have secretarial work done, rent our boardroom, as well as have unlimited access to our Resource Library, both online and in our printed archives.

Mentoring Programs

As part of your OVES membership you are able to take advantage of our Mentoring Programs simply by logging into the Members Area of our website, selecting the "Ask A Mentor" link and clicking on the topic you wish to discuss. Our Mentoring Programs e-mail based formats where you ask a mentor your question and they will respond to you within 2 business days.

The Okanagan Valley Entrepreneurs Society hosts several Workshops and Seminars on a monthly basis for entrepreneurs looking for information and education regarding topics such as Business Planning, Sales and Marketing Strategies, Internet Advertising and Marketing Strategies, Financial Fitness and many, many more.

Fast Trac

An award-winning, comprehensive package of entrepreneur-learning programs and materials, FastTrac provides existing and aspiring entrepreneurs with key business insights and skills, leadership experiences, and valuable networking and mentoring opportunities they need to start, grow, and lead businesses.

Canadian Youth Business Foundation (CYBF)

The CYBF is a national charity providing start-up financing for young Canadians ages 18-34 to create their own successful business. As a Community Partner to the CYBF, the Okanagan Valley Entrepreneurs Society helps guide candidates through the application and qualification process and offers assistance developing your ideas and aspirations.
